Bevilles Feel Fabulous! : A Feature & Giveaway

I hope everyone’s had a great start to the new year! If you follow me on Twitter & Instagram, you would know that I recently {erm ‘recently’ could mean a few months before} drove down to Sydney to attend the Bevilles Grand Re-opening at Liverpool Westfield.

Bevilles is a family owned business and they have recently had a revamp, culminating in a re-opening and relaunch of their Liverpool and High Point branches {I think the other branches are slated for revamps too}. I was very lucky to be invited along with a few bloggers and got to meet the lovely Bevilles family as well as hear the new direction that their chief executive, Michelle Beville, is leading the company in. One of the main changes is the decision to focus more exclusively on jewellery and watches {a very welcomed change, I say!}. Also, Bevilles has hopped on board with social media and the whole internet/iPad trend! At the Liverpool branch that I visited, they had brand new iPad kiosks to showcase their catalogues and special offers for easy browsing. I was also told, to my delight, that I can do online shopping on their website – absolute music to my ears since I don’t have any Bevilles branch nearby.

I was just so so excited when I won this 9ct Rose Gold Cognac & Diamond Stud Earrings + 9ct Rose Gold Cognac Diamonds Necklace at the event! Who would have thought! I’m just not one to win things often and I was so pleasantly surprised. To be honest, I didn’t even realize what I had won {except knowing that it was really, really beautiful} until one of the friendly girls asked me: “Do you know what you have in your hands?!” and excitedly ran off to get their catalogue to show me.

As if all that hysteria wasn’t enough {do pardon me but girls love their diamonds right?}, Bevilles just had to spoil me again with this gorgeous, gorgeous open circle pendant to feature today.

While my mum adores Yellow Gold, I have always had a tendency to lean more towards Rose Gold or White Gold. But, but, but… this one is just stunning. I did fall in love with it at first sight {my husband can attest to how much I talked to him about it and made him look at it}. Full-on gushing, I shall admit.

This beauty is the 9ct Yellow Gold 0.50ct Diamond Necklace. I love the beautiful open circle pendant and how the slight criss-cross design at the top and bottom lends such an elegant, unique twist. I kid you not, this is a true beauty #fact. This beautiful set also comes with a 45cm Gold Plated Curb Chain.

This is such a gorgeous statement piece that is sure to garner some deserved attention. Unlike the more common shaped diamond pendants that are usually smaller, no one will miss this open circle pendant.

I also adore how versatile it is – I pair it up with a maxi dress, or a more tight fitting bodycon or even tank and jeans/peplum skirt; it can look as elegant as it can swivel towards chic. I can’t ask for more in a diamond necklace.
{When my mum offered to gift me with a diamond necklace when I got married, I declined because I wanted something that is casual enough to be worn regularly yet I also wanted something that was unique for nice occasions. In other words – I couldn’t make up my mind and I couldn’t find one that was versatile enough like that. In the end, my mum got me some pretty diamond earrings that I wear daily but still get comments about!}

Of course, my photos could never capture the beauty of this piece so I will also show you the stock image from their website just so you can admire it better.

Like you, I love how versatile this piece is and like that it can be dressed up or down :) I am just getting into gold jewellery after being obsessed with silver and this would be so lovely to liven up my gold jewellery collection (of just one piece!).

    A flower may die
    The sun may set
    But a friend like you
    I’ll never forget
    Your name is precious
    It will never grow old
    It’s engraved in my heart
    In letters of gold

My life has come full circle,
    Kids at way too young.
A life built on sweat and tears,
    Some dreams best left unsung.
Life is much more stable now,
    Our kids our greatest treasure,
I’d love a symbol, something to wear
    A circles the perfect measure!

What a beautiful diamond necklace. I don’t have a lot of good quality jewellery and I would absolutely to own a necklace like this. It stunning and something that I could wear all the time to make me feel beautiful. Love your idea of pairing it with a maxi dress for a really elegant look. Thank you Mandy and Bevilles for the chance what a generous giveaway.
